President, VP Internal, VP External, VP Finance, VP Programming, VP Administration, Student Organization Ambassador, AS Senators (2)
All elections are hosted on the AS elections ballot. Only Muir students will be able to vote for Muir candidates and any Muir-specific referenda. Every college has their own candidates on the AS ballot.
A slate is a team of individuals who decide to run under one platform and one name. Slates can use shared marketing materials, campaign together, and support one another through elections. Muir slates must not campaign with members of other colleges or campus-wide slates.
Definitely not! Independent candidates are welcome to run for any position on their own.
Due to the bylaws and Election Code (as of Summer 2020), it is not possible to run in both elections.
If the Muir election rules are being broken for an MCC election, please submit your complaint to the Muir Elections Manager. If you need to be put in contact with them, please email the MCC President at mccpresident@ucsd.edu.
If you would like to report a violation of the campus-wide election code, please see the AS elections page.
